Nisa Community Shops Charity Event 2014

Once again, the Holiday Inn, by Birmingham Airport hosted the Nisa Community Shops for West Midland annual charity event 2014, in aid of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, regarding the department dealing with Motor Neuron Disease.
This being the sixth event or there about a lot was asked of those attending to match last year figure raised of £45,000 for Cureleukamia.

With about 25 prizes to be raffled or to be, auction off by two of the Liverpool Football Club all-time great’s Mr Phil Neal and Mr David Johnson. Part of the attraction on the night was having images taken with them both, with some of their collection of medals that they have accumulated while playing football…

Both men were able to encourage those in attending, as well as a nice donation from Nisa Head Office contributed to the final figure raised, with a matched figure on last year figure of £45,000...

I am sure some may have been disappointed, but never the less the CEO of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Mr Mike Hammond was more than grateful for the kind gesture of the Nisa Community Shop Owners...

Since to manage and run a modern world class Hospital, like the Queen Elizabeth Hospital cannot be completely realised with just the contribution from any Government Department, without the help and generosity of fund raising projects like the one from Nisa Community Shops...
