Why do you blog when you are not as active as a Professional Photographer anymore?

May 31, 2017

I am often asked why do you blog the way you do when you are not as active as a Professional Photographer like you use to be, due to health reasons, when you may be attracting the wrong attention about your activities on social media.

My reply is based on 3 points for those who want to put their nose into my business.

  • I have not seen my son Kobi Tygar James since he was 5 years of age and he is 11 going on 12, and the issues causing me not to see my son, I had no control over. So I am trying to leave a digital footprint so that he can find me one day, including his sister Oprah Whitney James and the rest of his family.

  • When you stop moving forward in the activity of work or profession that you are known for, like in my case as a Professional Photographer, you are easily forgotten by your clients and your colleagues along with many things you may have achieved.

  • If you don’t use it, sooner or later you will lose it, so if I cannot do what I love to do with a camera, I can only try to encourage someone else to be an achiever by the blogs I put out into the public domain via my website - www.walterjamesphotography.co.uk  or social media.
